Queen Of Wands

First i did a couple of sketches to get an Idea of what i want. Then i arranged a photoshoot with my cousin in which i made sure that my essentials are going to be covered: Gesture, Lighting, Perspective, the Corset and Folding of the dress
From this photo reference on, i could reinvent the design of her dress, the throne and her environment. Note that i am using the original Queen of Wands Tarot Card as reference for my symbolism: Cat, Sunflowers, Throne Lions and fire (as her's is the fire card). Her Crown is designed in the shape of clubs, as the queen of Wands is also known as the queen of clubs.

Meaning of the Card: Energetic, vivacious, strong, courageous, passionate, funny, independent, confident, optimistic, outgoing, assertive, sexy, chaotic, hot tempered, forgetful, efficient, accomplishing many tasks, efficiency, motherhood, fertility, a lot of balls in the air, helping others, organising your life, taking charge
